The House of Prayer Children’s
Ministry
Pastors Jonathan and Ami Stells
The children’s ministry seeks to provide an atmosphere for children
newborn to 5th grade that will teach them the love of God in a
meaningful and impacting way. Our goal is to provide safe,
age-appropriate programs that will help our kids to grow in their
understanding of biblical principles and values. We desire to
partner with parents in helping kids to understand God’s amazing
love for them and His larger than life plan that is specific to each
and every one of them. We are committed to making your child’s time
at The House of Prayer something to which they will look forward to.
Nursery - Our nursery department provides personalized
attention for children newborn to 2 years of age. While you are
enjoying the main service our nursery operates to provide your
little ones with care that is tailored to their needs.
Pre-School - Our preschool department is split into two
distinct groups (2&3 year olds) and (4&5 year olds) in order to
better serve each age group. Both groups use the Heart Shapers
curriculum by Standard Publishing, which provides a very
interactive, hands on approach to learning the Word of God. Our
desire is to show kids that learning about God is not only fun, but
important.
Elementary - Our elementary department provides an
action-packed adventure for children ages 6 through 5th grade. In
this setting the kids get to experience church in a way that is all
their own. We use Hands On Bible curriculum by Group to assist us in
providing fun and interactive learning each week. With dynamic
worship, object lessons, craft and even correlating snacks our kids
leave each week knowing that they, as young believers, are called to
impact this world for the glory of God by applying the principles of
His Word to their lives.

Jesus said, "You
shall love (agape) the Lord your God with all your heart, and with
all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and
foremost commandment." The second is like it, "You shall love
(agape) your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend
the whole Law and the Prophets.
