The House of Prayer believes in having something to impact everyone. Our desire as a church is to minister to all of the groups that make up our congregation. While we are all one body and function and work together, as people we have both shared needs and needs specific to who we are. We value men and believe that they have a vital role in the life of the church.
The House of Prayer advocates men taking their God-given place in the home, the church, and society. Men are called to lead their famiiles and to have a place of leadership in the Church as well.
Scripture is replete with examples of men in leadership. The Men’s Ministry at The House of Prayer is focused on helping men build a stronger relationship with God, stronger friendships with each other, and encouraging men to fill their calling in their church and in their homes. By providing focused ministry to men, this will result in healthier and stronger men of faith who live the life that God always intended and who impact their families, their jobs, their friends, and their church positively.
The Men’s Ministry meets regularly, with a special gathering which may be prayer, service, recreation or fellowship three times a year. It is a time for the men of the church to get to know each other, bond with their brothers in Christ and build a unity in the body that can bring about tremendous results.
Deuteronomy 16:16 “Three times a year all your men must appear before the LORD your God at the place He will choose.”
