We believe in Matthew 25 ministries. It is important for us to always
recognize needs in our community and in our church and show love
by addressing some of them. One of the ways we reach out and show
the love of Jesus is Helping Hands.
Helping Hands is a practical ministry that ministers to people who
have basic food needs. This ministry is a Food Bank, but is much
more than that. While Helping Hands gives food to those who are
in need, it also provides clothes and library resources. In conjunction
with these, the ministry also focuses on teaching the Word of
God, because we don’t just want to feed the body, but the soul and
the spirit as well. The ministry also focuses on prayer and outreach.
Through these relationships, Helping Hands meets more than just the
nutritional needs in our community, it helps to meet the spiritual ones
as well. This ministry meets every Thursday Night at 6:00.
