At The House of Prayer, how we believe ministry should be done is communicated
through the acronym TEACH. It stands for Transparency, Excellence,
Accountability, Character, and Honor. These values shape how we do ministry,
how we relate to one another, and how we live in view of God and the world. Transparency. Always being authentic, open and honest when it comes to
all things-finances, relationships with others, mistakes, successes, everything.
We believe that we are “living epistles”, read by all men. Excellence. Always giving our very best to God, each other, and the world
in word and in action. We want to be a light and an example of how to do
things. Paul said, “Follow me as I follow Christ.” Accountability. Always being ready to answer for all aspects of life and ministry.
We desire to walk in a way that is above reproach. We believe that God
places authority in our lives to help us. Our desire is to submit to authority
so that we can grow into the people that He designed us to be. Character. The building block of all ministry and meaningful relationships. Honor. The Bible has a great deal to say about honor. Our desire is to treat
everyone with the love of Jesus, turn the other cheek, and be gracious in all
of our interactions.
