Women’s Ministry
The House of Prayer believes in having something to impact everyone. Our desire as a church is to minister to all of the groups that make up our congregation. While we are all one body and function and work together, as people we have both shared needs and needs specific to who we are. We value women and believe that they have a vital role in the life of the church.
At The House of Prayer the philosophy of women’s ministry is more appropriately “Women In Ministry”. The focus of the Women’s Ministry is on the Word of God as the source of our strength, thus ensuring that Christ is lifted up and glorified in women’s lives. This provides women with the reassurance, faith and hope they need to fulfill their destiny in Christ.
II John 5 “And now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command, but one we have had from the beginning. I ask that we love one another.”
Heart to Heart is the name of the Women’s Ministry at The House of Prayer. The goal of Heart 2 Heart is to prepare God’s women to walk in their destiny and purpose by providing opportunities for women to connect with Jesus Christ and each other, leaving an imprint on each heart for God, so that the whole body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. (Ephesians 4:12)
Heart to Heart provides fellowship, inspiration, support and instruction to women of the church, in groups, and in individual ministry. We always encourage bringing a friend, relative or co-worker to experience, with us, the sweet presence of God.
Heart to Heart is a dynamic and vital ministry that affects change in lives through monthly meetings, retreats, worship, prayer, bible studies, home groups, and special events. Through these components of the ministry, Heart to Heart offers a comprehensive ministry approach to women that helps them connect with their place in the corporate body, connect with God, and connect with others.
